Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Cobra Kai (23-1) outscored the The Deathbirds (13-11) 12-9 in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 36 hits in the game.

The Cobra Kai's JOHN DeSenso was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

JIM GLEASON racked up three RBIs on four hits for the The Deathbirds. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first, sixth, and seventh innings.

James Esposito recorded his fourth win for the Cobra Kai even though he allowed nine runs over seven innings. Esposito struck out one, walked one and gave up 17 hits.

Thomas Luckner (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
