Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the MJM (19-4) outscored the Grindhouse (5-19) 11-8 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 33 hits in the game.

Rich Glock racked up three RBIs on two hits for the MJM. He singled in the third inning.

Phil Valente racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Grindhouse. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Jared Schmitt improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the MJM. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered five hits.

Valente (0-1) took the loss for the Grindhouse. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked one and struck out none.

The MJM pounded the Grindhouse pitching, as six hitters combined for 14 hits, nine RBIs and nine runs scored.
