The game was decided quickly as the longo lighting exerted their will early with 11 runs in the first three innings.
A solo home run by Joey Javetski, an RBI double by Rob Rusche, a two-run double by Anthony Cinquemaini, and an RBI single by Jamie Longo in the first inning and a two-run double by Javetski, an RBI single by Anthony Avelli, and a two-run single by Rusche during the second inning fueled the longo lighting's offense early.Cinquemaini racked up three RBIs on four hits for the longo lighting.
Phil Valenti put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the fifth inning.
