Thursday was a great day for Kevin O'Brien, as he hit two home runs to carry the longo lighting (12-5) to a 12-9 victory over the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL (16-5) at Shorefront Park in seven innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 21 total runs and 30 hits during the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with six lead changes.

Dennis Nourry racked up five RBIs on three hits for the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the fifth inning.

The longo lighting easily handled the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, nine RBIs and nine runs scored.
