A great effort by Greg Trogg spurred the Excel Aire1 (15-4) to a 30-12 win in six innings over the nemesis (9-11) on Sunday.

Trogg racked up six RBIs on five hits for the Excel Aire1. He homered in the third and fifth innings, singled in the second and fifth innings, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Paul Wyhownec racked up six RBIs on three hits for the nemesis. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third and fifth innings.

The two teams combined for 42 runs and 54 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The Excel Aire1 blew out the nemesis thanks to 37 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Excel Aire1 scored 12 runs in the sixth on a two-run home run by Ryan Schafer, an RBI single by Bobby Horan, an RBI single by Frnk Catania, a sacrifice fly by Paulie Concontin, an RBI single by Ray Zimmerman, an RBI double by Trogg, a three-run home run by Frank Difranco, an RBI single by Mike Mazzapelle, and an RBI single by Anthony Procoplo.

Procoplo recorded his eleventh win for the Excel Aire1 even though he allowed 12 runs over six innings. Procoplo struck out none, walked one and gave up 17 hits.

Bob Nipper (5-8) took the loss for the nemesis. He allowed 30 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out none.

The Excel Aire1 hammered the nemesis pitching as 10 hitters had a field day, combining for 35 hits, 28 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
