Three first-inning runs helped the KFC (Kevin Foxs Crew (18-0) to a 6-1 win over the Gladiators (12-8) at Shorefront Park on Sunday.

Kevin Flaherty got a hit in each of his four at bats. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Brian Russell picked up the win for the KFC (Kevin Foxs Crew. Russell allowed one earned run, seven hits and three walks while striking out none over seven innings of work.

Kristin Puzio boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Gladiators. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Rob Dolan (0-2) took the loss for the Gladiators. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked four and struck out one.

The KFC (Kevin Foxs Crew's Jamie Routh, Jamie Campos and Flaherty combined for nine hits and three RBIs.
