An RBI double by Russ Reener, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Keith Morano in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Reener during the second inning supplied the early offense for the NUGGETS.Morano was hot from the plate for the NUGGETS. Morano went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.
Tom Harwood racked up two RBIs on three hits for the bulls hit. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Brian Farrell got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered seven hits.
Ben OLeary ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in six innings, walked 11 and struck out two.
