The RAIDERS (7-16) shut the door early on the Custom Cleats Inc (12-11), capturing a 12-2 victory on Sunday at Veterans.

The game was decided quickly as the RAIDERS exerted their will early with eight runs in the first three innings.

An error, a two-run double by Eric Kinney, and a sacrifice fly by Brian Heick in the first inning and an RBI single by Ben Tieniber during the second inning fueled the RAIDERS' offense early.

Kinney racked up three RBIs on four hits for the RAIDERS.

Dave Valienti was hot from the plate for the Custom Cleats Inc. Valienti went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

Don Feldstein recorded his second win of the year for the RAIDERS. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered 10 hits.

Mike Frasa (7-5) took the loss for the Custom Cleats Inc. He allowed 12 runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out one.
