The THE MACHINE scored one run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Tim Ortiz. Still, the THE MACHINE couldn't draw even.

Gary Hammel racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Stunners. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Sean Kiernan racked up two RBIs on one hit for the THE MACHINE. He homered in the first inning.

Hammel recorded his sixth win for the Stunners even though he allowed six runs over seven innings. Hammel struck out none, walked seven and gave up 13 hits.

Ortiz was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out one.
