The UHH (9-15) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Purple Cobras (14-10) cruised to a blowout 16-3 win in seven innings at Nichols Road.

The Purple Cobras scored five runs in the fifth on a two-run double by Joe Maiolo, an RBI triple by Frank DiGrigono, an RBI single by Ryan Gerondel, and a sacrifice fly by Walter Bonilla.

DiGrigono racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Purple Cobras.

Anthony Zummo racked up two RBIs on one hit for the UHH. He homered in the second inning.

Bonilla recorded his fourteenth win of the year for the Purple Cobras. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Bonilla struck out none, walked two and gave up nine hits.

Sam Smith ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his ninth loss of the year. He allowed 16 runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Purple Cobras easily handled the UHH pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
