Megapowers vs Shake N Bake: 6-12

Early lead gives the Shake N Bake easy victory over the Megapowers, 12-6

The Shake N Bake (19-4) jumped out to an early lead on the Megapowers (14-9) and captured a 12-6 victory on Saturday at Nichols Road.

Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed the Shake N Bake to put the game away early.

A solo home run by AJ Demeo and a two-run home run by Pat DileoSr in the first inning and a two-run home run by Jordan Davis and a three-run home run by Alex Rodriguez during the second inning fueled the Shake N Bake's offense early.

The Shake N Bake were led by a flawless day at the dish by Pat Adams, who went 4-4 against the Megapowers' pitching. He singled in the first, second, and third innings and tripled in the sixth inning.

Troy Burchard paced the Megapowers at the plate. Burchard went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.

DileoSr got the win for the Shake N Bake despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered 15 hits.

Mike Nizinski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.

The Shake N Bake hammered the Megapowers pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
