Things looked bleak for the Reeses 1900 (17-2) when they trailed by four runs in the fourth inning, but the Reeses 1900 recovered thanks to a key double in the sixth inning from Rob Berberich to pull out a 21-12 win in seven innings over the Burners (16-3) at Shorefront Park.

With the score tied at 12 in the sixth inning, Berberich came to the plate and doubled.

It was a good day at the plate for the Reeses 1900's Berberich. Berberich went 3-4, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 33 total runs and 58 hits during the game.

The Reeses 1900 turned the win into a rout with 10 runs in the fifth.

Ryan Seal went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Reeses 1900. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.
