Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the HOT RODS (22-2) and the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL (16-8), as the two teams put up 33 runs combined in a 19-14 the HOT RODS win.

Jay Deabreau racked up five RBIs on three hits for the HOT RODS. He singled in the first inning, homered in the second inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Joe Gordon racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Deabreau got his thirteenth win for the HOT RODS despite allowing 14 runs over seven innings. Deabreau struck out none, walked two and gave up 22 hits.

Vinny Martino ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 19 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out none.
