The Coram County Lanes (15-1) beat the SIMPLY GREEN (4-7) 6-2 in seven innings on Wednesday at East Islip Marina one behind Frank Digregorio, who drove in three runs.

The Coram County Lanes relied on Joe Demartini to eat up innings en route to the win. Demartini allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Gary Patanjo racked up two RBIs on one hit for the SIMPLY GREEN. He homered in the fifth inning.

Patanjo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out three.
