Tuesday was a great day for Josh Bente, as he clubbed three home runs to carry the MCI three (11-2) to a 24-14 victory over the knighthawks (4-11) at Bellport Field #2 in seven innings.
Bente racked up nine RBIs on five hits for the MCI three. He homered in the second and third innings, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jeff Hanlon was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 24 runs in seven innings, walked five and struck out two.
The MCI three pounded the knighthawks pitching, as seven hitters combined for 19 hits, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
