The bats were busy at Dowling College on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Got Money two (2-13) had a 17-10 win over the Top Shelf (8-9) in seven innings.

The teams totaled 35 hits in the game.

The Got Money two blew out the Top Shelf thanks to 21 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Got Money two scored seven runs in the fifth on an RBI double by Sal Valenti, an RBI single by kurt, a two-run single by Dave Mazzara, an RBI single by Tony Lazaridis, and a two-run single by Chris Pavlowich.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with 10 lead changes.

Stan had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Mike Brady recorded his first win for the Got Money two even though he allowed 10 runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered 14 hits.

Gary Patanjo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 17 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Got Money two hammered the Top Shelf pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 18 hits, 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
