The NATION OF DOMINATION (6-16) failed to take advantage of Pat Brown's effort at the plate on Saturday, losing 18-13 to the Purple Cobras (12-10) in seven innings at Nichols Road.

Brown racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the NATION OF DOMINATION. He homered in the first, second, and fourth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Joe Maiolo hit two home runs for the Purple Cobras. Maiolo went 3-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Maiolo homered in the first and sixth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 31 total runs and 43 hits during the game.

The Purple Cobras came out swinging, scoring six runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the NATION OF DOMINATION early.

Even though Walter Bonilla allowed 13 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his twelfth of the season. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered 19 hits.

Mike Meier couldn't get it done on the mound for the NATION OF DOMINATION, taking a loss. He allowed 18 runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out none.

The Purple Cobras pounded the NATION OF DOMINATION pitching, as eight hitters combined for 20 hits, 14 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
