The Dutchgirl softball (7-11) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the EAST END SCREENPRINTING (7-12), recording a 15-3 victory on Monday at Baseball Heaven four.

Fourteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Dutchgirl softball to put the game away early.

A three-run home run by Andrew Massa, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Alonzo Green during the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Charles Seda, a two-run triple by Massa, an RBI double by Bobby Horan, and an RBI single by Tom Boyce in the second inning helped the Dutchgirl softball put some runs on the board early.

Massa racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Dutchgirl softball.

Pete Demieri was hot from the plate for the EAST END SCREENPRINTING. Demieri went 2-2 and drove in one. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Seda got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Bobby Kassick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out none.

The Dutchgirl softball hammered the EAST END SCREENPRINTING pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
