Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Drailers (11-2) outscored the outlaws (gullo (9-4) 16-8 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 40 hits in the game.
The Drailers blew out the outlaws (gullo thanks to 24 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Drailers scored five runs in the fifth on an RBI double by Bryan Metzler, a two-run single by Dave Lopez, a sacrifice fly by Alonzo Green, and an RBI single by Pete Apostolides.
Drew Massa racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Drailers. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.
The outlaws (gullo were led by a flawless day at the dish by Mike Lyons, who went 4-4 against the Drailers' pitching. He singled in the first, second, fifth, and sixth innings.
The Drailers easily handled the outlaws (gullo pitching as seven hitters combined for 14 hits, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
