Five first-inning runs helped the Cobra Kai (14-1) to an 8-3 win over the Frozen Ropes (11-4) at Broadway Ave Park on Sunday.

PAUL NIEVES racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Cobra Kai. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.

Tom Pennino went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Frozen Ropes. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

SCOTT SESSA recorded his first win of the year for the Cobra Kai. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

rich jensen (8-4) took the loss for the Frozen Ropes. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked none and struck out none.
