The FREE LOADERS (0-14) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the LI Storm CO-ED (16-0) dominated in a 23-1 win in four innings at Veterans.

The LI Storm CO-ED scored eight runs in the first on an RBI single by Lindsay Keegan, a two-run home run by Ian Walsh, a sacrifice fly by Timothy Flanagan, a single by Andrea Sullivan, a three-run triple by Jay Hornick, a single by Danielle Rega, and an RBI single by Keegan.

Hornick racked up five RBIs on four hits for the LI Storm CO-ED.

Glen Mata got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed one run over four innings. Mata struck out none, walked none and gave up five hits.

Rick Zoitke (0-6) took the loss for the FREE LOADERS. He allowed 23 runs in four innings, walked none and struck out none.

The LI Storm CO-ED hammered the FREE LOADERS pitching as nine hitters had a field day, combining for 30 hits, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
