The bats were busy at Firemens Field In Deer Park on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the D.P KNIGHTS (15-3) had a 23-9 win over the Maggios knights (7-11) in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 38 hits in the game.

The D.P KNIGHTS blew out the Maggios knights thanks to 24 hits, including zero extra base hits. The D.P KNIGHTS scored 10 runs in the seventh on a two-run triple by Scott Rodgers, a sacrifice fly by Andrew Stangle, an RBI single by Bryan Mcgill, a sacrifice fly by Mike Andrella, an RBI single by John Sickenberger, an error, a two-run double by Carmine Balboa, and an RBI single by Craig Riordan.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.

Rodgers racked up six RBIs on four hits for the D.P KNIGHTS.

Ryan Krepansky recorded his second win of the year for the D.P KNIGHTS. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Chris Rodriguez (0-8) took the loss for the Maggios knights. He allowed 23 runs in seven innings, walked eight and struck out none.

The D.P KNIGHTS pounded the Maggios knights pitching, as eight hitters combined for 19 hits, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
