The Goodfellas Gatto (4-6) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the one 800 CHIMNEY (6-3), recording a 17-2 victory on Monday at Veterans.

The game was decided quickly as the Goodfellas Gatto exerted their will early with 11 runs in the first three innings.

A two-run home run by Tom Flynn, an RBI single by Juan Rodriguez, an RBI single by Rodriguez, and a two-run single by Tom Kauffman during the first inning and an RBI single by Anthony Mitrani, a two-run double by Flynn, and a two-run home run by Chris Kaufman in the second inning fueled the Goodfellas Gatto's offense early.

Flynn racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Goodfellas Gatto.

Jeff Smith was solid at the plate for the one 800 CHIMNEY. Smith went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Rodriguez recorded his third win of the year for the Goodfellas Gatto. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered 11 hits.

James Esposito (1-2) took the loss for the one 800 CHIMNEY. He allowed 17 runs in four innings, walked none and struck out one.
