The White Girl Wasted (2-10) shut the door early on the Artemis (0-13), capturing a 23-2 victory on Friday at East Islip Marina Field #1.
The game was decided quickly as the White Girl Wasted exerted their will early with 14 runs in the first three innings.
A single by Billy DeGuido, a single by Kevin Booras, an RBI single by Matty Fuellbier, a three-run double by Nick Aug, an RBI single by Vinny Pellerio, and an RBI double by Nick Campbell in the first inning and a groundout by Dan Levine, an RBI single by Booras, an RBI single by Joe Calderone, and a two-run single by Frank Razzano during the second inning helped the White Girl Wasted put some runs on the board early.Campbell racked up three RBIs on four hits for the White Girl Wasted.
Jon Inzina paced the Artemis at the plate. Inzina went 2-2. He singled in the first innings and tripled in the fourth inning.
Razzano got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed two runs over four innings. Razzano struck out none, walked none and gave up five hits.
Dylan Conway ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 23 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
The White Girl Wasted pounded the Artemis pitching, as 11 hitters combined for 24 hits, 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
