Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the MasterBatters(Piotrowski (7-3) outscored the knighthawks (2-8) 28-15 in seven innings.

Fourteen runs in the opening three innings allowed the MasterBatters(Piotrowski to easily put away the knighthawks. A two-run single by Mike Trotta, a two-run single by Kyle Stanton, , a two-run single by Steve Guido, and an RBI single by Mack Clair in the first inning and an RBI single by Tim Morris and a two-run single by Rob Sherry during the second inning helped the MasterBatters(Piotrowski put some runs on the board early.
Stanton racked up four RBIs on five hits for the MasterBatters(Piotrowski.
The knighthawks' Steve Gill was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and tripled in the sixth inning.
Even though Sean Piotrowski allowed 15 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his sixth of the season. Piotrowski struck out one, walked none and gave up 26 hits.
Jeff Hanlon (0-6) took the loss for the knighthawks. He allowed 28 runs in seven innings, walked eight and struck out one.
The MasterBatters(Piotrowski hammered the knighthawks pitching as 11 hitters had a field day, combining for 30 hits, 28 RBIs and 28 runs scored.
