The Cobra Kai (13-1) jumped out to an early lead on the The Deathbirds (7-7) and captured a 16-3 victory on Sunday at Broadway Ave Park.

Fourteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Cobra Kai to put the game away early.

A two-run single by FRANK OCONNOR and a two-run single by James Dewhirst during the first inning and an error, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Justin Demaio, and a two-run double by Dewhirst in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Cobra Kai.

JOE BRODLEY racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Cobra Kai. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and third innings.

sean scully racked up two RBIs on two hits for the The Deathbirds. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Demaio improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cobra Kai. He allowed three runs over five innings. Demaio struck out one, walked four and gave up seven hits.

steve pober was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 16 runs in five innings, walked six and struck out none.

The Cobra Kai easily handled the The Deathbirds pitching as seven hitters combined for 14 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
