The bats were busy at Clarissa Drive Field on Thursday, and when the dust cleared the MCI two (5-0) had a 14-11 win over the Estee Lauder A Team (5-6) in seven innings.
The teams totaled 41 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with six lead changes.
Josh Bente put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the MCI two. He tripled in the fourth inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.
MannyMaceda recorded his third win for the MCI two even though he allowed 11 runs over seven innings. MannyMaceda struck out one, walked none and gave up 23 hits.
Matt Jano ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 14 runs in six innings, walked four and struck out none.
The MCI two hammered the Estee Lauder A Team pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
