The long island afterschock (7-1) took down the Madness (2-6) 11-5 on Tuesday at Bretton Woods after slamming the Madness with six runs in the fifth inning.

Russ Rapp had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Marco Menis racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Madness. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Mike Martucci recorded his fourth win for the long island afterschock even though he allowed five runs over six innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Rapp, Tom Cuccinello, Frank Grabowski and Martucci helped lead the long island afterschock. They combined for nine hits and five RBIs.

Luis Baez was charged with the loss. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked none and struck out none.
