Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the new alliance allstars (1-8) outscored the Instant Replay (8-3) 29-16 in five innings.
The teams totaled 46 hits in the game.
Twenty-six runs in the first three innings helped the new alliance allstars blow out the Instant Replay. A three-run single by RYAN KRAMPOSKY, an RBI triple by Kevin, a home run by Mike M., and a solo home run by Andrew Schwartz in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Kevin, , a single by Brian Russell, a three-run home run by JAMES PRIPE, and a single by Bob during the second inning fueled the new alliance allstars' offense early.
PRIPE racked up four RBIs on four hits for the new alliance allstars.
Chris Abbatiello racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Instant Replay. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Even though Bob allowed 16 runs over five innings he still recorded the victory. Bob struck out none, walked four and gave up 17 hits.
Darren Dunston (2-2) took the loss for the Instant Replay. He allowed 29 runs in four innings, walked five and struck out none.
The new alliance allstars pounded the Instant Replay pitching, as nine hitters combined for 29 hits, 26 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
