Saturday was a great day for Rob Silsbe, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Soccer Moms (11-8) to a 13-2 victory over the renegades (goldsborough (6-10) at Tanglewood in seven innings.

Silsbe racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Soccer Moms. He homered in the first and second innings and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Ten runs in the opening three innings allowed the Soccer Moms to easily put away the renegades (goldsborough. A three-run home run by Silsbe and a two-run home run by Danny Russo during the first inning and a three-run home run by Silsbe in the second inning fueled the Soccer Moms' offense early.

Kenny Edwards went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the renegades (goldsborough. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Bruce Campo improved to 6-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Soccer Moms. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Campo struck out one, walked three and gave up 11 hits.

Harrold Goldsborough (1-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 13 runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out none.

The Soccer Moms hammered the renegades (goldsborough pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 19 hits, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
