Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Megapowers (10-2) outscored the LI COORS CREW (2-10) 10-8 in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 32 hits in the game.

The Megapowers came out swinging, scoring four runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the LI COORS CREW early.

The Megapowers would not relinquish the lead as the LI COORS CREW were unable to weather a seven-run third inning deficit.

The LI COORS CREW scored on a single by Wayne Ford, a single by Keith Starzee, and a sacrifice fly by John Riley in the fourth inning, a two-run single by Mike Arena, an error, and a sacrifice fly by Ford in the fifth inning, and a fielder's choice, a double by Joe Fenoy, an error, an RBI single by Arena, and a sacrifice fly by Thomas Sulz in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, the LI COORS CREW weren't able to take the lead back.

James Mangiori (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked none and struck out one.
