The Hunter Display (5-9) and the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL (12-2) passed the lead back and forth four times on Thursday at Shorefront Park, but in the end the Hunter Display pulled out an 8-7 win in seven innings over the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL.

The Hunter Display staved off the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL as the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL were unable to match the Hunter Display down the stretch.

The SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL scored two runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Kevin Flaherty and a sacrifice fly by Ray Boaszky. Unfortunately, the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL weren't able to take the lead back.

Jay Cifuentes put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Hunter Display. He doubled in the third inning, tripled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Brian Flaherty racked up three RBIs on one hit for the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL. He homered in the second inning.

Sandy Stoll recorded the win for the Hunter Display even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. Stoll struck out none, walked three and gave up 11 hits.

Bobby Kassick couldn't get it done on the mound for the SHORTBUS TYJA SOFTBALL, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out one.
