Six first-inning runs helped the Purple Cobras (5-4) to an 8-4 win over the LI COORS CREW (1-8) at Nichols Road on Saturday.

Frank DiGrigono racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Purple Cobras. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Wayne Ford racked up two RBIs on two hits for the LI COORS CREW. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Walter Bonilla improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Purple Cobras. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered 12 hits.

Chris Petillo took the loss for the LI COORS CREW. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked none and struck out two.
