Brandon Bednar drove in the go-ahead run to give the La Crosse Loggers (20-7) the lead in the seventh inning, as the La Crosse Loggers hung on to beat the Lakeshore Chinooks (13-14) 3-2 on Tuesday.

Brenden Farney to start the seventh. He then went from second to third on a groundout by Matt Chapman. Finally, Bednar came to the plate with the score tied at two, and, plating Farney.

Zach Wright recorded his first win of the year for the La Crosse Loggers. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Tyler Thicke couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Lakeshore Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
