The Alaska Goldpanners (3-1) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Everett (2-2), securing a 7-5 victory on Thursday at Growden Memorial Park.
Casey Munoz put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Alaska Goldpanners. He doubled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.
The Everett couldn't get anything going as long as Cody Priest was on the mound. Priest held the Everett hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Keegan Acker got on base three times in the game for the Everett. He tripled in the sixth inning.
Jake Reppert couldn't get it done on the bump for the Everett, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
