The Quebec Capitales need walk-off single to beat the New Jersey Jackals, 3-2

A walk-off single from Josue Peley brought home the winning run for the Quebec Capitales (66-34) in a 3-2 victory over the New Jersey Jackals (59-41) at Le Stade Municipal on Monday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Quebec Capitales' Peley. Peley went 2-5 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Chad Jones brought the heat against the New Jersey Jackals during his outing. Jones gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Francisco Caraballo had a hot bat for the New Jersey Jackals. Caraballo went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

TJ Stanton recorded his third win of the year for the Quebec Capitales. Stanton struck out two, walked none and gave up two hits.

Jeff Gogal was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
