Both the Quebec Capitales (60-32) and the Worcester Tornadoes (27-65) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Quebec Capitales that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-6 win at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto.

The Quebec Capitales held off the Worcester Tornadoes, as the Worcester Tornadoes were unable to overcome a five-run third inning deficit.

The Worcester Tornadoes scored on a groundout by Tony Patane and an RBI single by Jimmy Best in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Jerod Edmondson in the sixth inning, and an RBI double by Cam Kneeland and an RBI single by Cameron Monger in the seventh inning. Still, the Worcester Tornadoes couldn't catch the Quebec Capitales.

Sebastien Boucher put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Quebec Capitales. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Bryan Rembisz recorded his ninth win of the year for the Quebec Capitales. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Conner Hulse was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out four.

The Quebec Capitales were sparked by Jonathan Malo and Boucher, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
