The Rockland (13-16) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the Grand Prairie won in blowout fashion, 9-3 at Provident Bank Park.

The Grand Prairie scored two runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Keanon Simon and a sacrifice fly by Greg Porter.

Yasutsugu Nishimoto racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Grand Prairie. He tripled in the second innings and singled in the fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.

John Brownell picked up the win for the Grand Prairie. Brownell pitched nine innings and allowed three earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out seven.

Ryan Scoma got on base two times in the game for the Rockland. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.
