The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks score early and often in 15-1 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (64-35) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 15-1 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes (55-44) at Shaw Park.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored four runs in the ninth on a solo home run by Ryan Delgado, , , and a single by Eric Campbell.

Zach Penprase racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes' lineup had no answer for Eric Massingham. Massingham held the Winnipeg Goldeyes hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes were led by Barbaro Canizares's hitting. Canizares went 3-4. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Ethan Opsahl recorded his first win of the year for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He allowed one run over seven innings. Opsahl struck out three, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Todd Privett was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out five.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks pounded the Winnipeg Goldeyes pitching, as eight hitters combined for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
