A double, bringing home Jake Kahaulelio gave the Wichita Wingnuts (57-40) the lead in the sixth inning, and the Wichita Wingnuts hung on to beat the El Paso Diablos (45-51) 5-1 on Thursday.

Peralta racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wichita Wingnuts. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Ryan Hinson picked up the win for the Wichita Wingnuts. Hinson pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out six.

Jermy Acey put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the El Paso Diablos. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and eighth innings.

David Casillas was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
