Mike Conroy had four extra base hits as the Wichita Wingnuts (43-30) took home a 9-6 victory over the Sioux Falls Pheasants (34-39) at Sioux Falls Stadium on Saturday.
He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.Reggie Abercrombie racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.
Ryan Hinson got the win, running his season record to 8-4. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Hinson struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.
Rod Scurry was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
