A walk-off two-run blast from Jose Hernandez brought home the winning run for the St Paul Saints (36-30) in a 6-4 victory over the Quebec Capitales in 10 innings at Midway Stadium on Sunday.
Hernandez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the St Paul Saints. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the tenth inning.
Kyle Ruwe pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four.
Reid Mahon recorded his fourth win of the year for the St Paul Saints. He allowed one run over one inning. Mahon struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.
Guillaume Duguay couldn't get it done on the hill for the Quebec Capitales, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
