The Lincoln Saltdogs' late runs seal 11-4 blowout over the Sioux City Explorers

The Lincoln Saltdogs (27-42) rolled over the Sioux City Explorers (31-39) 11-4 on Sunday at Haymarket Park after a 10-run rally in the seventh inning.

Jimmy Rohan helped the Lincoln Saltdogs pull ahead for the duration in the seventh inning. AJ Miller to start the seventh. He then went from second to third on a single by Nate Wilder. Finally, Rohan came to the plate with the score tied at four in the seventh inning, and, bringing home Miller.

Matt Forgatch had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the seventh innings.

Justin R. Edwards improved to 4-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Alain Quijano couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sioux City Explorers, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.

Mike Provencher, David Espinosa, Sean M. Smith and Forgatch helped lead the Lincoln Saltdogs. They combined for seven hits and four RBIs.
