The game was decided quickly as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks exerted their will early with eight runs in the first three innings.

A two-run double by Eric Campbell in the first inning and an RBI single by Zach Penprase and a two-run home run by Nic Jackson during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
