The Grand Prairie AirHogs (36-14) needed 10 innings on Monday to take down the Laredo Lemurs (21-27) 2-1 at Uni-Trade Stadium.

With the score tied at one, Trent Lockwood came to the plate and homered.

Lockwood helped the Grand Prairie AirHogs take the lead for good in the tenth inning.

Lockwood was solid at the plate for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Lockwood went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the tenth inning.

John Brownell baffled the Laredo Lemurs, striking out seven batters. Brownell allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk over 8 1/3 innings.

Ronnie Morales recorded his third win of the year for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Mike Benacka was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
