The El Paso Diablos (17-31)'s four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 5-2 win over the Worcester Tornadoes on Monday at Cohen Stadium.

JJ Muse had two extra-base hits for the El Paso Diablos. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

Scott Hodsdon recorded his fifth win of the year for the El Paso Diablos. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered 10 hits.

Ryan Bicondoa took the loss for the Worcester Tornadoes. He lasted just eight innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
