A walk-off solo blast from Peter Barrows brought home the winning run for the Sioux City Explorers (19-25) in a 6-5 victory over the El Paso Diablos (12-29) in 10 innings at Lewis _ Clark Park on Sunday.

Barrows put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Sioux City Explorers. He doubled in the sixth inning and homered in the tenth inning.

Chris Bodishbaugh got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ronny Morla was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The Sioux City Explorers were sparked by Brian Bistagne and Barrows, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
