The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (19-19) jumped out to an early lead on the Lincoln Saltdogs (15-22) and captured a 13-6 victory on Wednesday at Newman Outdoor Field.

A sacrifice fly by Nic Jackson during the first inning and an RBI single by Zach Penprase, an RBI single by Penprase, and a three-run home run by Sergio Pedroza in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.Pedroza racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
Mike Provencher was hot from the plate for the Lincoln Saltdogs. Provencher went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Tyler Herron got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed four runs over six innings. Herron struck out five, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Justin R. Edwards (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
