Nandin's walk-off single send the Rockland home winners, 5-4

A walk-off single from Matt Nandin brought home the winning run for the Rockland in a 5-4 victory over the Grand Prairie at Provident Bank Park on Wednesday.

Nandin led the Rockland's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the ninth inning.

Keith Brachold was hot from the plate for the Rockland. Brachold went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the third innings.

The Grand Prairie (21-11) couldn't get anything going so long as Garrett Johnson was on the hill. The Grand Prairie managed just one hit off of Johnson, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Adrian Martin got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He tossed one inning of shutout ball. Martin struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Ronnie Morales couldn't get it done on the bump for the Grand Prairie, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
