Cristian Guerrero went 2-3, sparking the Sioux Falls (17-14) to a 9-4 victory over the Winnipeg (19-12) on Tuesday at Sioux Falls Stadium.
He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.The Winnipeg's Yurendell de Caster was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.
Alan DeRatt improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Sioux Falls. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. DeRatt struck out two, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Chris Salamida was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
